The Servlet jar is automatically provided by Tomcat. This jar maybe conflicting with the tomcat provided servlet-api.jar.

Unfortunately some of our below listed tools require Java plugin: Desktop recorder. You may also need to add your maven dependencies to the build path. If we want to incorporate these fixes into the older distributions we'll need to update the build. Check This Out I checked the codes and find the cause is in createMessageFromProblem method of JSPJavaValidator, it will filter IProblem when cannot mapping the problem from Java to JSP.
