By default on a XAMPP install those extension are enabled in the php.ini file. Actually I never thought I will face a problem like this cause I set up windows XP and Fedora myself, But Centos proved me wrong, please assist. and the "extension=php_mysql" is active and the file php_mysql is present in the \ext folder as well.
