So I click retry which also has failed. I did some further research and came up with a DLL file that could possibly be missing. The permissions in the Windows and Windows/System32 directory do not allow the setup application to copy files. He recently used nLite to create an unattended Windows XP Pro installation CD and proceeded to perform the install. Two others were downgrades from Windows Vista.
