install - and they tell you to do an 'upgrade' install from the setup disk and choose to include 'Photo Editor". I then removed that module and replaced it with (2) of (4), and ran the test again. If you have another drive try and use that. Could the OS be unrepairable? The common denominator for me was the all the pc's with issues had LG electronics cd,cd/rw,and dvd roms in them which for some reason cannot read the cd sent from MS. I was using a script that executes RUNDLL32 PRINTUI.DLL,PrintUIEntry to perform the install.

Perhaps it was wrong. After skipping over the files that would not install during the repair, I then had to delete a directory that holds Windows Updates because of issues with newer files there as The Bios Setup doesn't give me any control over clocking, do you guys know any way of doing it ?

So, I decided to repair it by booting from the CD and repairing windows by selecting Repair after I selected to install Windows. The closest we have gotten is within 18 minutes of being finished. Maybe the DVD DRIVE the disk boots from?
When attempting to install ME again, I had similar copying errors, but found a txt file on the CD which had detailed instructions to solve this kind of problem.
