(This of course after making sure the machine can't boot from the suspect HDD. If you make a copy of the original cd (or just the i386 folder)and install from that there is no problem. I had to hit esc to continue installing. Try it, and you will definitely love this tool. It's possible that the installation fails because the harddisk is infected? Still no luck, so put my old CD RW in another PC and tried installing it. If you're having a computer problem, ask on our forum for advice.
Maybe the drive is just having issues with that one cd. Aborted and tried the LG and installed without any porblems. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. Either try reliable memory, or run a dos memory diag.

So I thought why not refresh HDD with new xp intallation cause could not open any of my xcell and word files. Hardware wears out.
