I thought I got a bad bunch of bad cd's or a couple of defective drives but when put in my Compaq workstation(poineer DVD rom) they read fine. Personaly had a similar problem, using a different drive (from my old computer) was able to install XP with no hustle. I didn't read the whole thread again, so if this is a silly question, so what?
