Would not read CDs from Adobe. The representitives (one tech and one CSR) could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. I read you have to load factory setting prior to update, since that could not post for 4 days also tried all tricks no luck. You may also... I have used the same disk before to reinstall XP on other desktops., yes. ntfs.sys...win2k.sys FILES! Within a few minutes I also received an email verifying all the information.
With the Windows XP 64bit, have you installed and run it ok before? But, i have tried Windows XP Pro as well as Windows Server 2003 Evaluation that i have and i recieve errors of the same degree that you are recieving on both the windows10 install worked fine but 1st I do not have a license and 2nd the devices for sound, usb wintv und usb wireless were not recognised and slimdrivers did not The job was heading for the bin but I spotted a references to RAM memory in a forum relating to a similar problem and decided to checkout the RAM cards etc

Examine the CD surface for scratches. I figure that this means that there is some error in the mbr.. That worked fine and the result has been reliable and problem free for over a month now. I didn't read the whole thread again, so if this is a silly question, so what? I downloaded and ran "Memtest86" (which I learned about from above) which detected faulty memory. Bottom line: I think if you see red, that's a bad thing.
but recently I installed windows 10 but I found out that slimdrivers could not find sound and usb devices drivers, so I decided to reinstall windows xp but its 64bit version I have and OEM install disk, and have tried to use it but it will not complete the installation process. It runs really well.
